They really should’ve called this Dario Argento’s Fred Olen Ray’s Dracula. Like most of Ray’s late night cable films, it’s filled with silicone-enhanced women in various states of undress, terrible effects, and the cinematography and production values of your average episode of Hercules. Ladyhawke is a sterling example of how a movie can almost be single-handedly wrecked by a horrible musical score.  It was written by Alan Parsons, of the suck-ass Prog Rock band, The Alan Parsons Project.  This guy was totally the wrong dude to get to score a medieval fantasy movie.  Half the time the music sounds like his usual Prog Rock noodling.
